Depute Headteacher

Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate school leader to join our team as a Depute Headteacher in Fife. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will contribute to the strategic vision for the school, working closely with stakeholders to implement and pursue objectives set in policies. Your role will involve contributing to the development of a self-improving system across the education community and beyond.

Qualification, Registration and Skill Requirements

• You must have high levels of interpersonal skills and abilities to work effectively as a member of the senior leadership team, leading and managing school improvement at strategic and operational levels.
• You must demonstrate a commitment to your own professional learning as a school leader through career-long professional learning activity and be able to show how this has impacted on your practice.
• You must be fully registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) and model all behaviour expected of a Teacher in Scotland in line with the relevant Professional Standards.

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
