Job Description
General Ledger Manager Job Summary: SF Recruitment (Birmingham) is currently seeking an experienced General Ledger Manager to lead the accounting team in Shenstone.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining a healthy cash position.
We offer a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
About the Role
This role involves leading the accounting team and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Oversee the purchase and sales ledger functions, including invoicing and payment processing
- Prepare and submit VAT returns on a timely basis
- Ensure accurate bank reconciliations and maintain a healthy cash position
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a leadership position
