Job Summary

We are searching for an accomplished Gas Engineer to contribute to our team's success, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and mechanical systems in residential and commercial settings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and experience in working across various installations. This role demands strict adherence to safety regulations while providing high-quality service to clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial and domestic gas appliances, such as boilers, space heaters, and associated mechanical systems.
  • Regularly inspect and check gas installations to ensure compliance with relevant safety standards.
  • Perform plumbing and mechanical tasks as necessary, including the installation of water heaters, pumps, and associated pipework.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work, including service reports and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in a callout rota (currently 1 in 3), with a £150 weekly standby payment.
  • Travel across the Midlands and London as required.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial gas engineer.
  • Hold TPCP1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1, BMP1, and CENWAT certifications.
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
  • Have a clean, valid driving licence.
  • Display excellent communication skills for effective client liaison.
