Delivery Postie Role

At Royal Mail Group, we're reinventing the future of delivery. We're looking for a Delivery Postie to join our team in Whitby Delivery Office. As a Delivery Postie, you'll be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering mail and packages to customers in the local area
  • Working 25 hours per week, 5 days a week, between 10:00 and 15:00
  • Operating a manual delivery vehicle
  • Providing excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.54
  • Overtime paid at 1.25 times the normal hourly rate
  • 22.5 days holiday per year, rising with length of service
