About the Position

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a Facility Support Specialist to support the delivery of leisure activities and services in our facilities. This role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and assisting with supervising activities and events.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the facility, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with supervising activities and events, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all users.
  • Set up and pack away equipment as required, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Contribute to creating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, promoting equality and diversity.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a friendly and approachable attitude, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A proactive approach to ensuring customer satisfaction and a commitment to maintaining health and safety standards are also essential.

This role requires manual handling on a daily basis, and the post holder must demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, and provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check if applicable.

Estimated Salary: £20,300 - £22,500 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
