Job Title:

Attendance and Welfare Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Attendance and Welfare Coordinator to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the school's attendance procedures, ensuring that official registers are accurately maintained and attendance trends are monitored.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. They will also possess sound judgement and integrity, respecting confidentiality at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice, support, and guidance to students and their families.
  • Recognise the needs of individual students and develop strategies to support them.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and monitor attendance trends.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams, and other stakeholders to identify and address attendance issues.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills and teamwork to achieve positive outcomes for students.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Sound judgement and integrity.
  • Confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
