Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and maintaining mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dismantle and reassemble mechanical assemblies
  • Inspect equipment and identify faulty components
  • Maintain quality, environmental, and health and safety procedures
  • Carry out preventative maintenance work on plant and equipment
  • Assist other disciplines when required

Requirements:

  • NVQ or City and Guilds qualification
  • Strong mechanical understanding and knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and hydrostatic systems
  • Ability to understand and use schematics and maintenance drawings
  • Organized with strong planning skills
  • Capable of self-checking work and adhering to high personal standards
  • Full UK driving license
