Examination Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable and committed Examination Supervisor to oversee exams throughout the academic year. Our ideal candidate will be well-organized, an excellent communicator, and have experience supervising children. While experience is preferred, full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

• Ensure accurate registration and checking of exam details.
• Ensure candidate numbers are distributed accurately.
• Prevent student communication during exams.
• Facilitate the smooth running of exams by ensuring students abide by school and examining body guidelines.
• Use methodical and accurate placement of seating plans and ensure all necessary papers and equipment are available prior to the start of the exam.
• Distribute question papers, answer booklets, and associated materials at the beginning of the exam and collect them at the end.
• Accompany students if they need to leave the examination room for any reason and ensure they do not communicate with anyone.

Examination Supervisors are required to be available for the summer external exams in May and June (dates vary). There are various other additional periods of assessment throughout the year.

While the role is ad-hoc and term-time only, hours will be agreed with the successful candidate in advance. This position offers an hourly rate of £12.85.
