We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Liaison Officer/Deputy DSL to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in engaging with vulnerable families and providing them with the necessary support to overcome challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Under the guidance of the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team, develop and implement support packages for vulnerable families.
- Act as a point of contact for families in need of support, providing guidance and signposting to relevant services.
- Liaise with external agencies, such as Housing, NSPCC, and Social Care, to ensure families receive the necessary support.
- Complete referral forms and attend multi-agency meetings as required.
- Build effective relationships with families and provide opportunities for them to engage with the school before their child begins.
- Maintain regular contact with families to encourage positive involvement in their child's learning.
- Act as Deputy Designated Lead for the school, ensuring all training is up-to-date and valid.
- Maintain accurate record-keeping in accordance with school policies and procedures.
