About the Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be part of a highly skilled team tackling major defence, decommissioning, new build, and nuclear generation projects. Our team has won over 78% of its latest tenders, and we're innovating to make nuclear safer, faster, and cost-effective across the nuclear energy life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate effectively with Engineering and other functional teams to promote co-operation and drive project delivery.
  • Interface with customers and supply chain to resolve design issues and assist with procurement specifications.
  • Ensure procedures, codes, and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.
  • Contribute to Product Safety Assessment processes and provide technical solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Carry out technical investigations and analysis to provide data for problem assessment/resolution and design improvements.
  • Apply engineering domain knowledge to produce technical solutions and documentation in support of assigned tasks and projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent experience.
