Exciting Opportunity: Deputy Care Manager at Acacia Care Home

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Care Manager to join our team at Acacia Care Home in Southport. As a Deputy Care Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents, fostering independence and choice, and cultivating positive relationships with all stakeholders.

The Role

As a Deputy Care Manager, you will assist the General Manager in daily operations, taking charge in their absence, and supervising and managing staff directly. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the utmost care standards
  • Fostering independence and choice for our residents
  • Cultivating positive relationships with all stakeholders

Key Skills and Experience

We are looking for an individual with:

  • A Level 3 qualification or higher in Health & Social Care
  • Previous involvement in social care
  • Experience in team management
  • Flexibility to work varying hours
  • Exceptional leadership and multitasking skills
  • Dementia Care certification (preferred)
  • Proficiency in IT
  • Confidence in multidisciplinary meetings

Salary and Hours

This is a full-time role with a competitive salary starting at £28,500 depending on experience.
