About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Systems Integration Specialist to join our team at MBDA UK Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in integrating new RF seeker systems with complex technology in bespoke lab facilities, followed by showcasing the equipment during field and flight trials campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure seamless coordination across hardware, software, test equipment, and the entire weapon system to guarantee harmonious operation and meet set standards.
  • Work with cutting-edge RF and multimode seekers in intricate weapons systems, applying ingenuity and innovative approaches to testing and trials.
  • Plan test strategies, define test equipment and testability requirements, and conduct trials to ensure compliance with set standards.
  • Develop and implement effective integration processes, including requirements definition, modeling, and simulation.
  • Familiarize yourself with testing RF, IR, or other electronic systems and sensors, and utilize tools such as Matlab, Simulink, SAP, PLM/Windchill, DOORS NG/ETM, Rhapsody, Jira, Lab View, and MS Office.
Requirements
  • Awareness of Model-Based System Engineering, including requirements, modeling, and simulation, and how they relate to system integration and validation methods.
  • Familiarity with integration processes, including planning test strategy, defining test equipment and testability requirements, test specification, trials planning, test and trials conduct, data analysis, documenting compliance evidence, and defect management.
  • A curious mind, enthusiastic to learn about many different topics and apply learning to deliver high-quality solutions, with a scientific approach to solving problems.
