The Workplace Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team.
About the Role:
We are looking for a qualified Accountant to serve as a primary point of contact for designated clients, managing all their accounts compliance and other service requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the completion of all relevant tasks related to client accounts while maintaining effective team workflow.
- Prepare accounts for companies, partnerships, LLP's, and sole traders, as well as tax returns and computations.
- Review VAT returns and track the progress of work, ensuring suitable communication levels with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage a portfolio of clients with varying sizes and requirements, ranging from VAT return preparation to Management Accounts and advisory work.
- Communicate Management Information to clients with commentary and discuss their business performance.
- Lead and manage team members servicing the portfolio of clients, ensuring all output is accurate and consistent while creating a positive and enjoyable working environment.
About You:
We are looking for an ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified individual with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Accountancy Practice Firm.
You should have basic knowledge of accounting packages and statutory accounts preparation software, ideally Xero and Caseware experience.
Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and FRS 102.
Strong time management and delegative skills are essential for this role.
