Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fortune Brands Innovations.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organized individual to take on a key role in maintaining the efficiency of our manufacturing operations. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure maximum asset availability and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:- Performing routine inspections and conducting planned preventative maintenance on a range of equipment across both facilities.
- Troubleshooting mechanical systems to resolve breakdowns and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Working collaboratively with the production team to identify and implement solutions to optimize site performance.
- A relevant qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (NVQ, HNC) or completion of an apprenticeship within maintenance engineering.
- Experience of reactive and preventative maintenance, preferably in a kiln or furnace environment.
- Strong technical ability relating to automation hardware and software.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to act decisively to solve engineering and operational problems.
- A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
