We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Consultant to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. As a Cardiology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiology services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing clinical expertise in cardiology, including heart failure and cardiac imaging
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular diseases
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Contributing to the development of our cardiology services and ensuring they meet the needs of our patients
About the Role:
This is a fixed-term 12-month locum position, and you must have (or be within 6 months of obtaining) a CCT in cardiology. You will be expected to work on both the Poole and Bournemouth sites, with most of your time spent on the Poole site. Our cardiology team is characterized by exceptional team working and cohesive strategy, with excellent functional MDT meetings.
