**Key Responsibilities**- **Project Leadership**: Manage the design process, ensuring that it is delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
- **Client Support**: Support clients in understanding their obligations and requirements in the development of the design.
- **Design Coordination**: Act as a focal point for all design-related issues on projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- **Design Quality**: Ensure that design information is of the right quality and on time.
- **Health and Safety**: Strive to eliminate health and safety risks during construction.
- **Compliance**: Ensure that the design process recognizes current legislation, standards, and codes of practice where appropriate.
- **Collaboration**: Liaise with design consultants, statutory bodies, subcontractors, and client teams.
- **Design Management Experience**: Proven experience in Design Management or Design Coordination.

- **Education**: HND/Degree level in a construction-related subject (preferred).
- **Industry Knowledge**: Main Contractor experience working within masonry.
- **Analytical Skills**: Ability to plan, organize, and manage all aspects of the design, with analytical problem-solving skills.
- **Decision-Making**: Ability to make reasoned and informed judgements and decisions.
- **Regulatory Knowledge**: Knowledge of current building regulations.
