About the Role

We are seeking a Behavioural Scientist to join our team at SoMoCo, where we harness data-driven insights and applied behavioural science to understand the drivers and determinants of human behaviour.

As a Behavioural Scientist, you will play a key role in delivering projects that apply behavioural science frameworks and methods to real-world problems and client projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise projects and people, overseeing the delivery of appropriate projects including behavioural analysis, intervention design, evaluation, data analysis, report writing, proposals, research, and training.
  • Client and stakeholder engagement, building strong relationships to help clients understand how behavioural insights can be applied to overcome a wide range of business and societal challenges.
  • Organisation and coordination, working on several projects at once and using proven project management skills to deliver projects to time, cost, and scope.
  • Apply behavioural science frameworks, principles, and insights, utilising advanced behavioural models and frameworks to conduct research and develop actionable strategies and interventions.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree or equivalent in Behavioural Science, or Behavioural Economics.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a commercial setting, ideally in a consultancy with involvement in various aspects of consultancy work.
  • Agile project management experience with proven ability to work to deadlines, meet targets, and deliver high-quality outputs within scope.
  • Ability to explain and present complex theoretical and scientific concepts in simple terms appropriate to the audience.
  • Experience in designing, facilitating, and implementing workshops.
