We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our dynamic team at Lloyd Barnes Accountancy Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with various departments and senior management to drive informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and improving the inventory reporting system, overseeing periodic cycle counts, and the annual stocktake.
  • Developing and managing accurate product standard costings and providing production analytics to assess site performance.
  • Providing systems migration support to ensure a fluent transition and long-term optimization.
  • Supporting customer contract negotiations by providing detailed customer and product profitability analyses.
  • Updating the site controller with revenue, cost, and balance sheet analyses, and providing data and reports, including forecasting, actuals, and budgeting.
  • Providing assistance in monthly, quarterly, and strategic planning, including the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Overseeing statutory accounts and supporting both external and internal audits to ensure compliance.
  • Supporting other team members to ensure operational consistency.

Requirements:

  • Qualified CIMA or an equivalent professional certification.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing with an understanding and knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical and non-technical information effectively, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team, even under pressure.
