Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our team at Search. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, administration, and execution of events, as well as managing our social media presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning and administration of events, including conferences, workshops, and online events
- Manage our social media presence, including creating engaging content, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing engagement metrics
- Design and create event marketing collateral, including graphics, flyers, and promotional materials
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution
- Provide cover for other staff members as needed
- Report to the Events and Conference Co-ordinator on event activity
Requirements:
- Previous experience in events management, marketing, or a related field
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Office, Canva, and Hootsuite
- Confidence in managing social media pages, including X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
