Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Grupo Tradebe. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of our facilities, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage the maintenance function, including supervising a team of maintenance personnel and contract staff.
  • Assess plant defects, specify remedial action, and propose modifications to maintain plant reliability and availability.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and systems to improve the organization of maintenance activities.
  • Plan and supervise planned maintenance outages, including shutdowns, and ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard.
  • Work within approved budgets and ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a cost-effective manner.
  • Attend maintenance-based HSE site intervention meetings and ensure that all safety procedures are followed.
  • Ensure that all fault reporting is completed and acted upon in a timely manner and that all reports are filed correctly.
  • Ensure that all equipment requiring repair or overhaul off-site is dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that critical spares stock levels are maintained and that stock checks are carried out on time.
  • Carry out hazard and risk assessments for routine and defect maintenance tasks as required.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Quality and Environmental Management System and Health and Safety policies.
  • Advise management of any safety concerns.
  • Carry out any other duties as requested by Site Management.
Requirements
  • Able to attend site 'out of hours' to respond to breakdown or emergency situations.
  • Capability to Arc and/or MiG weld.
  • Enthusiastic and competent problem solver with a practical approach to engineering problems.
  • PC literate, and capable of learning how to use new software systems.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision and able to cope with numerous issues simultaneously and capable of prioritizing tasks accordingly.
  • Abrasive Wheels.
  • Experience of CMMS systems.
Desirable Skills
  • IOSH Managing Safely.
  • FLT License.
  • MEWP Licenses.
