About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Manager to join our team in Birmingham. As a Field Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations on a large New Equipment Installation Project, reporting to and working alongside a Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the safety of personnel and equipment on site, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
  2. Develop and implement effective site management strategies to ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  3. Coordinate and manage site resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project execution.
  4. Monitor and control site costs, ensuring compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and project success.
Requirements
  1. Strong knowledge of the lift industry, preferably from a lift engineering background.
  2. Experience in managing engineers onsite is an advantage.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  4. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
