Electrical Engineer - Hazardous Environments

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Inspector to join our UK-wide team, specializing in the inspection and testing of electrical systems at Petrol Filling Stations across the country. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring all client sites meet annual audit requirements and adhere to UK legislation.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for inspecting, testing, and installing electrical systems at petrol filling stations nationwide.
  • Liaise with customers on-site to discuss ongoing works and further services provided.
  • Communicate with colleagues, including other engineers, management, and business support staff, regarding work progress and identified opportunities.
  • Completion of documentation, such as test certifications and RAMS, to ensure compliance for audit purposes and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Largely working independently, with regular team interactions, maintaining a strong teamwork mentality.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards, representing the business to clients and the public.
  • Must be able to travel to sites further afield, including overnight stays.

About You:

  • Required qualifications: C&G 2391 or equivalent, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, and 18th Edition Certification.
  • Hold a JIB Gold Card/ECS Gold Card.
  • Valid and clean UK driving license.
  • Experience with RAMS documentation.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently, possessing strong communication skills.
  • Eager to contribute to a growing company that values development, innovation, and compliance.
  • Right to work in the UK.
