We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Cranswick Country Foods Preston in Hull. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our manufacturing process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Audit and monitor all stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure good manufacturing practice across the site.
  • Monitor the quality of products and identify areas for improvement.
  • Accurately complete paperwork and record relevant information.
  • Ensure the hygiene and housekeeping within the area exceeds the daily audit target.
  • Educate production colleagues on good manufacturing practice.
  • Ensure all start-up checks are completed.

Requirements:

  • An understanding of quality assurance and technical standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse with a diverse workforce.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Be organized and efficient.
  • Be able to work on your own and as part of a team.

  • A competitive pay rate of £12.39 per hour.
  • 4 on 4 off shift pattern with 6am till 6pm working hours.
