Financial Operations Assistant

Nixon McQuade are currently working in partnership with a leading business based in Newry to recruit a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join their expanding finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to support the financial operations of a thriving company.
The Role:
- Assist with processing invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and month-end close activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing and managing financial documentation.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any financial discrepancies.
The Person:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
