Palliative Care Nurse

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with palliative care needs, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver care that meets the individual needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and plan care for patients with palliative care needs
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients, including medication management and symptom control
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in education and training programs to maintain and develop clinical skills
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current registration
  • Experience in palliative care or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
