Job Role


The IT Support and Operations Engineer will be a technical expert at the forefront of infrastructure and system support for the business, leading on, participating in, and overseeing a wide range of analytical and technically demanding projects.


Key Responsibilities



  • Third line administration, support, and maintenance including Azure Virtual Desktop, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange 365, Network Hardware, and Infrastructure Performance.
  • Provide day-to-day support for internal customers via IT Service and Operations helpdesk, and project-based work leading to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services.
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers or other internal departments to collaborate on bug fixes, release installations, and plan future developments.
  • Document and train to produce and maintain knowledge bases on managed IT systems to support the wider team and business.
  • Hands-on Microsoft Windows network skills including Microsoft/Entra AD, Group Policy management, Security, DNS, DHCP, DFS, RDP, and other Windows services.
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 administration skills, including hybrid Azure deployments, including IaaS and PaaS solutions.
  • Proficient in the latest Microsoft Windows server, Linux, and desktop operating systems technology stacks, including Azure Virtual Desktop/Nerdio.
  • Experienced in commonly used anti-virus software packages, such as Microsoft Defender.
  • Experience with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support would be desirable.
