Bloomberg, a leading global provider of financial data and analytics, is seeking a skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team. As a Technical Account Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and technical support to our content partners and customers.

About the Role:

The Alternatives Technical Account Management Professionals team supports Bloomberg's suite of private markets data from fund launch to liquidation, seed round to IPO, and all the data in between. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing outstanding support to our content partners, establishing and maintaining relationships with Content Partners to develop and implement technologies/workflows, and facilitating efficient onboarding of new data sets. You will also prioritize and manage projects with multiple stakeholders to maximize efficiency and return on investment, work closely with a global team of account managers, technical specialists, and product managers to better understand our clients' data needs and key market trends, and develop your account strategy. Additionally, you will proactively manage campaigns to stay engaged with content partners and maintain the quality and reliability of contributed content, support colleagues with campaigns to ensure a high standard is reached across the team, and become a true subject matter expert in Alternative Investments by leveraging business intelligence to help spot trends, identify gaps, and areas for data acquisition and data content improvements. You will also write detailed, accurate, and complete specifications/requirements and contribute to training colleagues.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need 5+ years of work experience in the financial services industry, including exchanges, market data providers, or financial institutions, demonstrated experience in Alternative Investments, a proven understanding of capital markets and the investment lifecycle for private assets, exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple client queries and projects simultaneously, and good interpersonal skills and a desire to work directly with customers. A Master's degree or certification such as a CFA charter holder or CAIA is preferred, as well as experience in using business intelligence to identify gaps and trends, or opportunities for product enhancements, and knowledge in information technology and statistical analysis or computer programming, for example, Excel, SQL, and/or Python.
