Job Title: Care Manager for SEND Children's Home
Company Overview: Gilbert Meher Ltd is seeking an experienced and dedicated Interim Care Manager to oversee the operations of a well-established SEND children's home in Surrey.
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
Job Description:The successful candidate will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all residents. This includes providing guidance and leadership to a dedicated care team, promoting a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
The role requires ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, safeguarding policies, and best practice guidelines. Additionally, the successful candidate will drive continuous improvement in service delivery, focusing on the holistic development and care of each child.
The responsibilities also include managing budgets, staff rotas, and reporting systems. A proven track record as a Children's Home Manager or Deputy Manager within residential care is essential for this role.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the safeguarding framework.
- Be compassionate, resilient, and driven by a commitment to improving the lives of young people.
The initial contract is for 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
