Senior Advisor - Economic Development / Business Case

We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor to lead our economic development and business case initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on economic appraisal methodologies, business case development, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement economic appraisal methodologies based on HMT Green Book guidance for clients.
  • Develop and deliver business cases for infrastructure projects, utilizing the 5-case model.
  • Manage project teams and provide technical direction on projects, including tender/bid support and proactive client proposals.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services and deliver exceptional results.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in economic development, business case development, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the HMT Green Book and experience in delivering economic analysis for public sector clients in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with colleagues and clients.
  • Goal-oriented and a problem-solving mindset, with a willingness to adapt to change and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
