About You and This Role:

As a Senior Improvement Engineer at Dow, you will serve as a vital resource for the Barry Site, applying technical and organizational skills to drive a plant-level continuous improvement program.

You will work with plant operations and engineering under the direction of the Improvement Leader, requiring both conceptual and practical knowledge of your discipline and broader engineering knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive knowledge exchange with technology experts to increase awareness of potential improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with experts to develop and implement a Plant-Specific Technology Plan that delivers positive returns while meeting plant-level EH&S improvement goals.
  • Lead and support plant continuous improvement activities aligned to the PSTP and support the capital plan for the facility.
  • Champion process safety activities and act as a resource for relevant process safety concerns.
  • Partner with plant operations and maintenance personnel to identify and track performance indicators.
  • Champion the 'next unplanned event' exercise for the plant and ensure potential solutions are captured in the appropriate prioritization system.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
  • A minimum 3 years of relevant engineering, manufacturing, or related experience.
