Manager, Operating Model Transformation Specialist

Deloitte is seeking a highly skilled Manager to join our Operating Model Transformation - Capital Markets team. As a Manager, you will work on complex and challenging projects within the Capital Markets industry, focusing on regulatory change. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow by using our sophisticated tools and methodologies, while building meaningful client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Translate regulatory requirements into tangible business transformation and improvements to ensure regulatory compliance and/or robust controls.
- Produce quality deliverables, including designing and implementing operating models and processes.
- Support clients with regulatory examinations and ongoing engagement with key regulatory bodies.
- Develop new processes and/or business requirements by collaborating with various teams.
- Manage work streams across large-scale regulatory programmes.
- Delivery experience in Capital Markets within a Professional Services firm or internal consulting / change experience at a major Capital Markets institution.
- Experience in investment banking and Capital Markets industry, front-, middle- or back-office processes, market infrastructure, risk management, etc.
- Technical or business line experience in a key area in Capital Markets - e.g. Front Office, Operations functions, Trade Life Cycle (Pre-Trade / Post Trade processing), Securities Processing, Collateral Management, etc.
- Experience of working on large regulatory remediation programmes (MiFID, Brexit, FRTB, EMIR, etc.).
- Knowledge of the UK and European financial regulatory environment.
- Knowledge of ESG regulations and understanding of how they impact operating models, risks, controls, and processes.
- Strong understanding and experience of the project management lifecycle.
- Proven change management and change delivery ability.
- Experience managing small engagements and teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in leading Working Groups and/or Steering Committees.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly structure analysis.
- Excellent relationship/stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
