About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar PV Fitter to join our team at a family-run business based in Horsham. As a Solar PV Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar panel systems, working on a variety of domestic and commercial projects in Sussex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Assist with the installation and maintenance of solar panel systems, ensuring they are functioning efficiently and effectively.
  • Panel Mounting and Securing: Mount and secure solar panels according to design specifications, ensuring a safe and secure installation.
  • Electrical Connections: Connect wiring and electrical components to ensure the system is fully functional and meets safety standards.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform maintenance and repairs on solar panel systems, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Customer Service: Work as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot problems and find solutions, working collaboratively with the team to resolve any issues.
  • Documentation: Complete work-related documentation accurately, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met and followed, maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in solar panel installation is essential, with a strong understanding of solar panel systems and their components.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of the assembly and installation of solar panels, including electrical connections and safety protocols.
  • Problem-Solving: A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Salary and Benefits
