We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in the Clinical Measurement Department at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. This is a permanent post with an estimated salary of £40,000 per year.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have a BSC (HONS) Degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification and post grad experience. They will be responsible for performing analyses, interpreting and reporting on a broad range of standard and highly complex diagnostic investigations.

  • Performs analyses, interprets and reports on a broad range of standard and highly complex diagnostic investigations ensuring they are delivered in a timely and professional manner
  • Approves and authorises highly specialised reports generated by other clinical physiologists
  • Undertakes training and supervision of trainees and other professionals
  • Participates in the out of hours on-call rota
