Job Title: Trainee Lift Tester

About the Role:

Orona is a leading manufacturer of lifts, escalators, and moving ramps. We are seeking a Trainee Lift Tester to join our team in Bournemouth and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside a qualified Lift Tester to learn and understand the company and requirements to become a qualified Lift Tester.
  • Assist in the testing and maintenance of lifts to ensure they are safe and functioning correctly.
  • Develop and learn new skills to become a qualified Lift Tester.

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSE's grades A-C including Maths, English and Science
  • Ideal qualifications include Level 2 Foundation Course in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations or BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering
  • Able to follow instructions and ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times
  • Demonstrate a willingness to develop and learn new skills
