Job Title: Deputy Ward Manager - Eye Unit
Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated nurse leader to join our team as Deputy Ward Manager - Eye Unit. As Deputy Ward Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
About the Role
As Deputy Ward Manager - Eye Unit, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care. You will be responsible for mentoring and supporting junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is approximately £45,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and training and development opportunities.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

- Mentor and support junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting.

- Demonstrable ophthalmology experience at Band 5 level.
