The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of English and another language, with the ability to interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services.
Responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting for individuals using legal, health, and local government services
- Ensuring the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence
- Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Dealing with highly confidential information
- Liaising between the service user and service provider
Requirements include:
- Fluent in English and another language
- Right to work in the UK
- Aged 21 or over
- Formal qualifications such as DPSI, Community Interpreting, or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
As a freelancer, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with ongoing help and support from our dedicated in-house team.
