About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at HC-One. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and deliver activity programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents. This will involve working closely with the Home Manager and other care staff to ensure that activities are tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and implementing activity programs that promote social interaction, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation
  • Working with residents to identify their interests and preferences and developing activities that cater to these
  • Collaborating with care staff to ensure that activities are integrated into the overall care plan
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of activity programs and making recommendations for improvement

In addition to your technical skills and experience, we are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and service to our residents. You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in a care or community setting
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for delivering exceptional care and service to residents
