Model Maker

We are seeking an experienced Model Maker to join our team at Red Bull's Formula 1 operation. As a key member of our aerodynamics department, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing scale models of our F1 cars.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our wind tunnel models are manufactured to the highest standards and meet tight deadlines. You will work closely with our designers and aerodynamicists to develop and refine our models, and collaborate with the model shop to maintain and improve our working practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of model mechanical assemblies, experience with digital measurement and scanning systems, and the ability to work under pressure to meet time-critical deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:- Design, build, and test scale models of F1 cars
- Collaborate with designers and aerodynamicists to develop and refine models
- Work with the model shop to maintain and improve working practices
- Ensure models are manufactured to the highest standards and meet tight deadlines
- Investigate and implement new techniques to improve model development and testing
- Automotive and engineering working experience, ideally in F1
- Familiarity with digital measurement and scanning systems
- Ability to work under pressure to meet time-critical deadlines
