About the Role:

Tdm Recruitment is seeking an experienced Strategic Land Acquisition Manager to join a leading privately owned strategic land promoter. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the land acquisition strategy for the business, developing and building relationships with land owners and land agents, and dealing with legal and contractual issues during the purchase of land.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive land acquisition strategy to meet the business's growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key land owners, land agents, and other stakeholders in the southern home counties and wider south east region.
  • Manage the purchase of land, including negotiating contracts and dealing with legal issues.
  • Appoint and manage external planning consultants to ensure compliance with planning regulations.
  • Liaise with existing tenants on current land assets to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified with 6 years + experience in land buying.
  • Proven track record of acquiring high-profile sites in the southern home counties and wider south east region.
  • Experience working at a leading strategic land promoter, house builder, or development consultancy.
  • Ambitious and money-motivated individual with a strong understanding of the land buying process.
