Heavy Goods Vehicle Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) driver to join our team at Bandmwaste. As an HGV Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for transporting waste in the UK while ensuring site operation and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate HGV vehicles efficiently to collect and transport waste between designated locations, adhering to safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Plan routes and schedules for waste collection and transportation, minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of waste collections, deliveries, and incidents, providing valuable insights for process improvement.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Promote recycling and waste diversion efforts to reduce our environmental impact.
- Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 driver's license.
- CPC qualification.
- Previous experience as an HGV driver in waste management or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of HGV vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
- Excellent driving and navigation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
