Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Center Support Specialist at Nekcavt. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a respectful classroom culture that fosters safe and productive learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out duties in compliance with HS Performance Standards, Content Area Plans, Vermont Child Care Licensing Regulations, and NEKCA Standard of Conduct.
  2. Be aware of indicators of child abuse and neglect and comply with Vermont Mandated Reporter Law and program Child Protection Protocol.

Requirements:

  • GED or High School Diploma required; 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of Volunteer/Substitute Training course preferred.
  • Experience working with young children or education in Early Childhood preferred.

Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $58,000 per year, depending on experience.
