Key Responsibilities

The following are the key responsibilities for the Cooks Manager role:

  1. To lead, motivate, and direct a team of kitchen colleagues to deliver a first-class catering service.
  2. To understand individual nutritional needs and choices of residents at all times.
  3. To prepare menus in consultation with the Home Manager, residents, families, and catering committees.
  4. To prepare, cook, and serve meals, ensuring all special needs are fully considered and catered for.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Chef Qualification, 2 years of relevant experience as a Chef or Cook, and a Food Hygiene Certificate. You will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work unsupervised and remain calm under pressure.
