About the Role

Sephora is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store's inventory management and stock replenishment processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of merchandise. Unpack, label, and tag products accurately and efficiently. Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, including stockrooms and shelves.
  • Stock Replenishment: Work closely with the management team to prioritize stock replenishment tasks. Ensure that stockrooms are adequately stocked to meet customer demands. Restock products on the sales floor promptly and maintain appealing product displays.
  • Documentation and Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using designated systems. Generate and process purchase orders and return merchandise authorizations.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with store associates to understand their stock needs and priorities. Communicate effectively with the management team regarding stock-related issues.
  • Customer Service: Support different categories on the shop floor, when asked to. Foster client loyalty by warmly welcoming, attentively understanding, and exceeding their needs at Sephora.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in stock management, inventory control, or related roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of beauty and cosmetic products is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
