Job Title: Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in producing accurate and comprehensive estimates for projects in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed resourced-based estimates to evaluate design changes and maintain the baseline cost.
  • Challenge contractors' estimates and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the development and promotion of estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend.
  • Assist in the achievement of departmental objectives and contribute to the growth of the estimating function.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and provide best practice advice to support business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience.
  • Wide and varied experience of construction projects, preferably including onshore oil and gas projects.
  • Relevant successful experience of provision of estimating and/or QS services in a large project environment.
  • Understanding of project management, planning, risk, and investment processes.
  • Capacity to use RIB Construction Suite/iTWO to Intermediate User standard.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status and/or educated to degree level.
