We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Transitions and Progression to Adulthood Team in Islington Council.
About the RoleThis role involves working with young adults aged 18-25 who have a learning disability and are Care Act eligible. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in social work, with a focus on supporting vulnerable individuals and developing effective care plans.
Responsibilities and Requirements- Leading assessments and creating individualized support plans.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure seamless support services.
- Providing guidance and supervision to junior staff members.
We offer a competitive salary of £43,441 - £50,470 per annum, plus benefits including double payrolls each week and access to ongoing training and education. This role also offers flexible working arrangements, with regular team meetings and opportunities for professional growth.
