Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Education Support Assistant at Holmbush Primary Academy. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our pupils and contribute to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to teachers in planning and delivering learning activities, ensuring that all pupils receive a high-quality education.
  • Motivate and encourage students by providing individual attention, reassurance, and help with learning tasks, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies effectively, maintaining a safe and respectful learning space for all.
Requirements
  • A GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent in Maths and English, demonstrating strong communication and numeracy skills.
  • Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and experience of working with children with varying abilities.
  • The ability to establish positive relationships with students, empathise with their needs, and provide tailored support to promote their academic and personal growth.
