As a Severn Trent Water Tanker Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of sewage and sludge to designated treatment facilities. With our state-of-the-art vacuum tankers, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting these essential resources across various routes.

As a tanker driver, you will be an integral part of our operations team, working towards a common goal of protecting the environment and public health.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities as a Tanker Driver will include:

  • Safely operating our vacuum tankers and associated equipment to transport sewage and sludge to designated treatment facilities.
  • Dynamically risk assessing site access and working conditions to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Loading and unloading flexible pipework in a safe manner using correct manual handling techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid UK HGV Class 2 licence.
  • The ability to manipulate flexible pipework safely.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
