- Communication: Create and present updates to internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and project visibility.
- Product Engineering: Handle DFM/DFA activities, feasibility studies, DVP&R, and product launches, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Supply Chain Management: Ensure BOM accuracy, manage RFQs and sourcing, and complete BOT & Customer Asset Registers, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
- Continuous Improvement: Facilitate workshops, lessons learned activities, and continuous improvement initiatives, driving process improvements and best practices.
- Engineering Background: Engineering degree or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of automotive industry practices.
- Project Management: Proven track record of delivering projects under tight deadlines, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Automotive Industry Experience: Knowledge of OEM/Tier 1/Tier 2 automotive industry practices, with a strong understanding of NPI, APQP, PPAP requirements, and manufacturing processes.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with CAD drawing interrogation, mechanical design, and technical documentation, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Leadership: Ability to motivate and lead engineering teams, with a strong focus on team collaboration and development.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on meticulous tracking of budgets and timing, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective Communicator: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
