Senior Theatre Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Charge Nurse/Senior Operating Department Practitioner to join our peri-operative team within the Golden Jubilee Hospital.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the daily management of your specialty, ensuring patients receive a high standard of safe, effective, and person-centred care. This requires a visible leader who can provide clinical supervision for your staff group to support in the delivery of patient care.
You will lead the team within theatres, working collaboratively with areas such as Critical Care to enable a smooth patient flow resulting in excellent patient outcomes. You will be pivotal in the provision of complex surgery and contribute to national services such as NORS.
The post holder will also have a focus on utilisation, ensuring efficient use of theatres to support patients through their peri-operative journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the peri-operative team within theatres
- Provide clinical supervision for staff group
- Collaborate with Critical Care to ensure smooth patient flow
- Contribute to national services such as NORS
- Focus on utilisation to ensure efficient use of theatres
