We are seeking a skilled production operative to join our team at our site in the UK's corrugated packaging and display sector.

This leading organisation collaborates with top brands, employs advanced technologies, and utilises smart materials to produce high-performance, high-definition corrugated products.

As a production operative with multiple skills, you will be working within the Conversion, Finishing Hall, Assembly area. Your main duties will be to operate production machines, assemble products within optimum output, and enhance productivity.

You will be trained and signed off to run machines in multiple areas of the factory, ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety standards in line with the Company's policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating production machines to produce high-quality products
  • Assembling products within optimum output and enhancing productivity
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised area of work

Requirements:

  • Numerate and literate
  • Computer literacy, with a working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • A good team player able to adapt to different situations
  • The ability to work to achieve tight deadlines, often under some pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivation and the drive and enthusiasm to contribute to the Plant's continuous improvement process
  • The ability to understand and learn new technology quickly
